The more obvious difference is that its gun head (charging line) is different. The DC charging pile is a 9-wire plug, while the AC charging pile is a 7-wire plug.

The output of DC charging pile consists of nine wires: DC+, DC-, PE of equipment ground, S+, S-, CC1 and CC2 of charging connection confirmation line, A+, A-, of low-voltage auxiliary power supply line.

The output of AC charging pile consists of seven wires: AC power line L1, L2, L3; equipment ground line PE; midline N; connection confirmation line CC; control guide line CP.
